Andy Made A Friend (directed by Ashley Lendzion) is the new movie of the company OneWordTitle Productions, also known for its short film The Elevator.
Staring Glee star Heather Morris and her incredibly talented roomate Ashley Lendzion, Andy Made A Friend is the story of an unexpected friendship between Andy, a young woman unable to control her bladder, and Kate, a narcoleptic girl. The discovery of their respective problems will take them on the road to happiness, thanks to an extraordinary friendship.
But the production of the movie wasn't a simple matter. Being an independant production, the search of foundings for the film happened on Kickstarter, the international funding platform for creative projects. 113 backers - often fans of the two actresses - supported the project, gathering the money and allowing the beginning of the filming.
No release date has yet been decided, but the movie will be presented in different film festivals in the USA during the upcoming months.
Andy Made A Friend, as well as The Elevator, have already been accepted into the Napa Valley Film Festival, which will take place between the 9th and the 13th of November 2011, near San Francisco.
